From Australian Hives to the World
Koala Valley Produce supplies premium Australian Manuka honey under its own brand. Produced from the nectar of native Australian Leptospermum species, Manuka honey is valued for its distinctive natural characteristics.
Manuka honey holds a strong premium position due to its naturally occurring methylglyoxal, commonly known as MGO. This signature compound is associated with Manuka honey’s natural antibacterial activity and is a key reason for its growing appeal among health-conscious consumers.
This natural compound is quantified through the MGO rating, which indicates the minimum methylglyoxal content of the honey in milligrams per kilogram. To verify the rating, the MGO content of Koala Valley Produce Manuka honey is independently tested by a laboratory approved by the Australian Manuka Honey Association.
Koala Valley Produce offers a premium range of 100% Australian raw Manuka honey in 500g pack format, available in three scientifically tested MGO strengths: MGO 30+, MGO 100+, and MGO 500+. This gives buyers the flexibility to position the range across different consumer segments, from accessible everyday Manuka honey through to more premium options. Wholesale and export buyers can enquire about 500g jar cartons by MGO grade.
Our Manuka honey MGO 30+ 500g is the everyday tier within the range, designed to broaden participation in the Manuka honey category while remaining a premium wellness product. It gives health focused consumers a clear and approachable pathway into Manuka honey.
Our Manuka honey MGO 100+ 500g is the premium tier within the range, carrying a verified minimum MGO level of 100 mg/kg. Positioned as the key trade up SKU, it offers shoppers a more concentrated Manuka honey strength while retaining the accessibility required for regular purchase and everyday pantry use.
Our Manuka Honey MGO 500+ 500g represents the high-strength tier within the range, carrying a verified minimum MGO of 500 mg/kg. This Manuka honey is suited to consumers seeking a higher-strength natural product, where verified MGO strength, Australian provenance and premium presentation support a higher price point.
